Free or low cost breast cancer screening for uninsured or medically underserved, low-income, women.

Our 2017/18 - Annual Impact
4,600 Screenings +
30 Lives saved
Through Neighborhood Link: 4,600 medically underserved women in 112 neighborhoods throughout Orange County were led to Breast Cancer Screenings. 30 women were diagnosed with breast cancer who would have gone undiagnosed or diagnosed at a later, more life- threatening stage
Through Prom Project: 540 formals, accessories, shoes and makeovers gave dignity and pride to: 220 high school girls from low-income families to attend prom, a milestone experience that lasts a lifetime; 300 wives of enlisted Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton to attend the Marine Birthday Ball; 20 at-risk girls in foster care and family shelters to celebrate their Quinceanera, hosted by community collaborative at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center.
With the YES Project, 1,211 at-risk youth were given employment assistance including resume-building, interview skills, online and in-person job seeking navigational skills, and career training opportunities resulting in job placement and enrollment in career training programs.
Our family violence conference and YWSafe Program addressed family violence from infant to senior abuse, domestic violence, bullying, sexual abuse.
Through our college re-entry scholarships: 11 women re-entering college won scholarships of over $17,000, helping them to achieve their academic dreams or receive their credentials in career training programs.
